As the world evolves to create new technologies, a lot of the futuristic technologies never trickle down into the general consumer population. Artificial intelligence is something that everyone now has access to in their phones, laptops, and cars. Though, mainly due to complexity, many independent engineers building projects seem to avoid implementing such a valuable technology. This project is to demonstrate for how very little budget, a group of DIY engineers can come together to implement such a complex technology on such a small and inexpensive platform.
There are several teams needed to make the project happen, though the goal is to demonstrate how this can be accomplished on a small scale. Therefore, each team will only consist of one person. My personal role is to be the design lead for the whole project which involves lots of communication with all the teams.
This project is still currently being worked on and we are currently talking to various companies to use their AI services. One of the critical components of this project is the AI implementation. The lead programmer for AI is no longer on the team so I took it as an opportunity to dive deeper into the world of AI and machine learning.
